Finding the correct muffler for any car, truck, or hot rod can be a real challenge. Specially if you want them to fit and sound good. These mufflers are a perfect fit into any Model A or Early Ford running a flathead V8 or any early hot rod engine (early SBC, Olds, Caddy, Nailhead). These have very good airflow as they are straight through design, and produce and excellent exhaust note, with premium construction and design! Most importantly they have a small diameter 1 3/4" inlet and outlet for the traditional hot rod exhaust systems and small in size overall.

All Porter Mufflers are non-directional, allowing them to be mounted in either direction. Exhaust gas passes through the center of the steel spiral core with the sound dissipating into the stainless-steel packing preventing drone. Unlike glass-packed mufflers, Their steel-packed mufflers will never break down. 

They produce a well balanced exhaust note that's gives that "just right" sound, loud when you get on it and tame enough for just cruising. No annoying drone. Sold individually.
